Controller
The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is: Yves Dupont, Franklinstr. 46, 40479 Düsseldorf, Germany, email: contact@yd.works.
Principles
This website is a static information page. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services, loads no fonts or other content from third-party servers, and collects no personal data via forms.
Hosting and server log files
When you visit this website, the hosting provider Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA; represented in the EU by Cloudflare Germany GmbH, Rosental 4, 80331 Munich) automatically processes information transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of access, requested file, referrer URL, browser and operating system. These server log files serve to ensure reliable operation and to improve stability and security. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Log files are retained only briefly and then deleted. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Cloudflare; any transfer to the USA is safeguarded by Cloudflare's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and by standard contractual clauses.
Contact by email
If you contact me by email, the information you provide (email address, message content) is processed to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer required, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
